Weekend trip to Mindo

Mindo is a sleepy town nested in the middle of a 'bosque nublado' (cloudy rainforest). The ecological reserve is incredibly rich-- host to waterfalls, monkeys, curative plants, dramatic valleys and, especially, impenetrable vegetation. The area caters greatly to tourists; one can jump 12 metre waterfalls, canopy through the trees and tube down the river. All of which our group did! Some of the acivities were rather daunting, but the thrill was worth it.

View during our hike.

Local architecture?

House and donkey.

Self-absorbed donkey.

He then climbed the tree to pick some lemons.
