Vocabulario

GUAGUA- Quichua word for baby, pronounced WAWA.
GRAN CABALLO- Literally big horse, figuratively big idiot. A semi-affectionate nickname for citizens of the Carchi Province, who are the butt of many jokes here (as Belgians in Switzerland or Poles in the US).
PRESUPUESTO- Neither clever nor funny, but definitely relevant every day: a budget.
